Okay so I recently found a new spot in Goa that’s perfect for anyone who loves Japanese food—it’s called Karumera.Karumera was established in 2023, and ever since, it’s been serving fresh and tasty sushi along with other Japanese dishes that really hit the spot. The place isn’t fancy or hard to understand. It’s just good food, made well, and served with care. Every bite feels like a little treat, whether you’re new to Japanese food or already a big fan. If you’re looking for something different from the usual spots in town, Karumera is definitely worth a visit.

The lights are soft and warm, and the wooden walls and simple design make the space feel calm and welcoming.
It’s a great place to bring your family, go on a quiet dinner date, or even enjoy some alone time with a nice bowl of ramen or sushi. I also like that it’s quiet inside—not too loud, so you can really enjoy your meal and chat without shouting. The staff are friendly and they greet you with a smile, which always makes the experience even better.
Karumera Kitchen Picks
Karumera’s menu is packed with options—whether you’re just a little hungry or ready for a full meal.
When I was super hungry, I went for the Pork Tonkatsu Bento. It’s crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and comes with rice and sides that really fill you up. It’s the perfect go-to when you need a heavy, satisfying meal.
